About SEEDS OF HOPE

Mission and Values

Implementing a strict application process, the Seeds of Hope Foundation offers a generous tuition and books scholarship to underprivileged local high school graduates. We strive to “plant seeds of hope” into the lives of the children who otherwise may not have the opportunity.

The students we sponsor originate from two local elementary schools – River Pines Elementary and Lakeland Elementary which are school-wide Title I campuses with approximately 800 students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade located in Humble ISD.

The student population is very diverse, resulting in 74% economically disadvantaged, 67% Hispanic, 23% African American 43% Limited English Proficient, 6% White. Both schools are low income campuses that unfortunatley results in higher student drop-out rates versus other local elementary schools. It is our passion to “Plant Seeds of Hope” for a bright future in all children who cross the threshold of both campuses.

The funds raised through the Foundation will be used to directly support the scholarship fund specifically designed for River Pines and Lakeland Elementary school students. Each of the students attending these schools will have the opportunity to embrace a better future and a more enriched life with a generous scholarship to a college or university.
